Information officer - Ragnhild Solberg

My name is Ragnhild Solberg, and I am a fifth year student at the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University in Copenhagen. For those of you that were in Croatia; thanks for a great time!! For those of you that didn't go there; See you in Poland (or Greece!)

This is my first year as Information Officer, but I was a trustee for Vivi last year, so I have been working in the Info Office for more than a year already. Work at the Info Office has been very busy this fall, so I have had lots to do. My trustee, Larke, has been fantastic, working on the Scholarship applications and helping me a lot. Thanks Larke: We have received quite a few applications for the IVSA Scholarship, and they all are very good candidates. With the deadline coming up on November 1st, we expect even more applications, so the job of choosing one recipient is very hard.

Our 2nd ExCo meeting was held in Copenhagen the first weekend of October, and it was a very constructive and busy meeting. I think we all had a great time!

For the future, I hope that we will be able to increase the number of members, and with the Vision up and running, communication between members are going to be much easier and a lot quicker. This will be very useful, both members and prospective members. The Vision is a very promising project, and I believe if we all put some time and energy in it, it will be a great success!

Finally; a big THANK YOU to Vivi, who was IO the past two years, and did a great job!

Big hugs,

Ragnhild Solberg, IVSA Information Officer2002/3
