IVSA Symposium with biggest IVSA flag

IVSA is association. It is something like a party. And each party has a flag. So, that is why IVSA – Croatia has decided to make IVSA flag.

We are not very big country, so we decided to make very big flag. Idea was to make it as big as possible, and with simple design. Letters IVSA are well known between students. That is why we decided to use just them. Especially because there are many IVSA logos, but they are not well known brands. Result was a big orange IVSA letters on veterinary blue background and in one corner IVSA-Croatia, to make obvious who did it, and in another corner of flag – logo of sponsor (www.BOSCHhrana.hr) – whose support was essential for this idea.

To rise funds for the flag, we asked Kresoja – company which is representing Bosh pet food in Croatia, to be our sponsor. With their support we come to Symposium in Poland with flag 3 X 1.5 m in size.

First few days on Symposium we were situated in big student hostel in Warsaw – so we put our flag on the building, 9^th floor, to let everybody know where IVSA is. A result was quite good!

On the Development Fund Auction IVSA flag was the most valuable article. Income made by this flag was over 10% of whole DWF income on that auction.
